The Sock Monkey's Return

Sock monkey's were a big deal around here in late March for Peyton's 2nd birthday party. We haven't talked much about them since then. That changed today. Check it out....

This is the t-shirt I found at a children's consignment store in our neighborhood before Harper was born. (See blog entry titled "Brain Abduction" from March.) Below, you can see Harper demonstrating her new skill: arm control. Or, maybe she's getting a little fiesty with me for making her pose for ten minutes for pictures...you know, as if she has something better to do.

By the way, I don't believe any other sock monkey has ever held such a prominent place of attention in a household as JoJo does in ours. Thanks Dad for handing him down to me twenty something years ago, and thanks Grandma White for repairing him decades ago.
