The art of sugar

Last weekend we made graham cracker villages with Peyton's best friend Etta and her mom, Amanda. We "glued" graham crackers onto empty milk cartons to form the houses. Look what we did with bowls and bowls of sugary things, including five batches of royal icing.  We put our village (in the back of the picture) on display on our kitchen island.

Then, Peyton found some more sugar on Etta's face.

 

Whether edible or kissable, sugar brought some big smiles that day.
